Delete your account
In the app (fastest)
Open Rasa, go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account and confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.
By email
If you can't open the app, email hello@rasamalaysia.org from the address you signed up with and include your username. We'll delete the account within 7 days and confirm by email.
Delete some of your data and keep your account
You can delete these yourself in the app at any time. They're removed straight away:
- A ranking or review, with its photos: open the place and tap the green tick at the top, then Delete. Or press and hold it in Profile → Activity.
- A comment: open the review and delete your comment.
- A saved place: tap its bookmark again.
- Your name, bio, photo, city or school: Profile → Edit profile.
For anything else (for example a list, your profile photo or your search history), email hello@rasamalaysia.org from the address you signed up with, say what to delete and include your username. We'll delete it within 7 days and confirm by email.
What gets deleted when you delete your account
Your profile, rankings and reviews, photos, comments, lists, saved places, follows, coins, badges and streaks, and your sign-in details.
What we may keep, and for how long
Places you added that other people have since confirmed stay on Rasa without your name. Records we must keep by law (for example, reports of abuse) are kept only as long as required, then deleted. Backups roll off within 30 days.
